Biometrics, you've met your, um... Gummi

This report by the Register says it all. Someone's found a way to reliably fool a fingerprint sensor (80% of the time), which means if you're using only one type of user access system for your network or other secure application you should really think about adding something less spoofable. I'm sure the big companies who have been touting their biometric log on systems for desktops and laptops are backpedaling really quick now!

you just can't beat encrypted passwords. I'd take that over fingerprint and retinal scans anyday.
