Wait, you mean they walk uphill, in the snow, BOTH WAYS?

So Washington State is bucking the trend setters in Seattle a little here. It seems Seattle is WAY into protecting the ecology. That's all well and good, but at the expense of safety? Somehow I think Seattle went and put the cart before the horse this time around; when you stop a service intended to protect the citizens before you have a viable replacement for that service to fall back on, all in the name of ecological responsibility you are failing the people you are supposed to be serving as a government entity.

On the other hand, the rest of the State has kept their wits about them. In Seattle you'll find police unable to reach the scene of the crime in their vehicles, but in the rest of Washington State the police and troopers will be able to get wherever they need to. I wonder if Seattle's lack of a sense of civic duty extends to Kent, where I hope my next duty station is?
