Researchers show 100Mbps cellular data

Whoa that's fast! Actually, Engadget Mobile had posted an article about a faster cellular data solution not too long ago. UMB tops out at a blistering 280Mbps, but until they roll out the spec and carriers start putting together upgrades to their networks we'll have to work with the paltry 100Mbps down/50Mbps up streams of the MIMO flavored UMTS system the inspired folks at Heinrich-Hertz-Institut (a division of Fraunhofer) have slapped together. Nice, huh? One of these days we won't even have to have phones or cards to get access to this kind of networking... It will be built into every device we buy!
